Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Announce Divorce

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony are calling it quits after seven years of marriage. In a statement, the couple say that the decision to end their union was very difficult, but that they “have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters.”

“It is a painful time for all involved,” they said. “We appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time.”

Lopez and Anthony wed in 2004 in a secret ceremony at Lopezs home in Beverly Hills. The former couple have two children, 3-year-old twins Max and Emme. As of yet, it is unknown whether Lopez and Anthony will go forward with their plans to develop a show in which the two would travel throughout Latin America seeking out new talent.
