The Black Keys have finished the follow up to Brothers, the Grammy-winning album that launched the Ohio blues rock duo into the mainstream. Spin reports that the as-yet-untitled set was recorded at guitarist Dan Auerbachs studio in Nashville with Brothers producer Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton.
According to Auerbach, the new tunes are among the fastest theyve ever played and draw inspiration from the Clash and the Cramps in particular and rockabilly and garage rock in general. “The new album doesnt sound like Brothers,” he told Spin.
